Whole Foods to Demo Vegetarian Kosher Dips and Spreads in Mid-Atlantic Region

PrintWhole Foods to Demo Vegetarian Kosher Dips and Spreads in Mid-Atlantic Region

Whole Foods Market plans to run product tasting and demonstrations in its Mid-Atlantic region stores for a new line of spread and dips that were developed for the vegetarian, kosher and gluten-free markets.

The Austin, Texas-based natural and organic foods retailer will demo the VeggieDip and VeggieSpread lines from Santa Cruz, Calif.-based Nature’s Peak. According to Nature’s Peak, both are 100 percent all natural, vegetarian, kosher, and gluten-free, and contain no preservatives, artificial ingredients, trans fats or sugars. Six flavors are available in each product line.

“We are supporting the ongoing sales of VeggieDip and VeggieSpread in Whole Foods with in-store product tastings and demonstrations,” said Paul Wilkinson, CEO of Nature's Peak. “We know from experience that the best way to support product sales is to reach out to the customer with a tasty bite of fresh vegetables and mini sandwiches with VeggieDip and VeggieSpread.”

Wilkinson added that even though the products are healthy, kids enjoy them as well as health-minded adults. “Our products pass the kid taste test,” he said. “Nature’s Peak VeggieDips and VeggieSpreads taste good and are a healthy alternative to mayonnaise.”
