Whole Foods Florida Adds Frontier Soups Gourmet Mixes

PrintWhole Foods Florida Adds Frontier Soups Gourmet Mixes

Whole Foods’ Florida region now is carrying selections from both of Frontier Soups’ all-natural lines of gourmet soup mixes. Distribution is being handled by Global Specialty Foods of Atlanta.

Whole Foods Florida markets will carry six soups each from the Hearty Meal and Homemade-In-Minutes lines, according to Trisha Anderson, founder of Frontier Soups. They soups include South of the Border Tortilla, Idaho Outpost Potato Leek, Illinois Prairie Corn Chowder and Minnesota Heartland 11 Bean. Whole Foods’ Mid-Atlantic region already carries Frontier Soups all-natural soup mixes.

All Frontier Soups mixes are all-natural, with no added salt, preservatives or MSG. Suggested retail prices are $7 for Hearty Meal soup mixes and $6 for Homemade-In-Minutes soups.

Frontier Soups’ soup mixes are inspired by the flavors of regional American cooking. Home cooks add a few fresh and pantry ingredients for authentic homemade soup with minimal preparation time, Anderson says. Homemade-In-Minutes soups serve four to five people, with an average cooking time of 30 minutes. Hearty Meal soup recipes have longer cooking times, more additions and serve six to 12 people.
