Celebrity chefs Rick Bayless, Paula Deen, Lorena Garcia, Stephanie Izard, Ming Tsai and Fabio Viviani will prepare their favorite recipes in the Cooking Theatre at the 2017 International Home + Housewares Show, March 18-21 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. YouTube personality Rosanna Pansino also will be making an appearance.
During the four days of the show, 25 national and local celebrity chefs will be demonstrating and using products that can be found at the show, beginning at 10:30 on Saturday. The Cooking Theater, located in the Dine + Décor Expo in the South Building, is jointly sponsored by KitchenAid, Oneida, Wilton and WellnessMats.
Rick Bayless hosts the PBS series Mexico – One Plate at a Time, which is in its 10th season and is best known for winning Bravo’s Top Chef Masters. Queen of Southern Cuisine Paula Deen has authored 14 cookbooks that have sold more than 11 million copies and in October, launched Positively Paula, a nationally syndicated cooking and lifestyle show.
Lorena Garcia recently created the Lorena Bella Kitchen Collection for HSN and is a restaurateur, TV personality and author. The first woman to win Bravo’s Top Chef, Stephanie Izard is the owner of three Chicago area restaurants and was the James Beard “Best Chef: Great Lakes” recipient in 2013. James Beard Award-winning chef Ming Tsai has won an Emmy for his PBS show, Simply Ming, and is the author of five cookbooks.
Fabio Viviani owns 15 restaurants across the country, will release his fourth cookbook in May and has introduced his own wine collection, Fabio Viviani Wines. Rosanna Pansino is the founder and face of Nerdy Nummies, which currently has more than 7.3 million subscribers and 1.7 billion views on YouTube.
