A closing sign has gone up on the door at Top Tomato Gourmet Market in Holmdel, N.J. "Top Tomato will be closed until further notice," it reads. The market shuttered its new store on Route 35 Sunday, five months after it opened.
The 37,500-square-foot store, the largest at Holmdel Commons, was too big for Top Tomato Gourmet Market, which has smaller stores in Freehold Township and Brick.
