Just in time for its tenth anniversary, SaltWorks Inc. opened a 100,000-square-foot headquarters in Woodinville, Wash.
SaltWorks' new facility allows for natural salt flavoring, smoking, cleaning, sizing and packaging.
The salt company’s headquarters includes $3 million in upgrades, including a natural smoking facility that quadruples its salt smoking capacity.
SaltWorks, which offers more than 110 varieties of gourmet salts, smokes its all natural gourmet sea salt, including the new Smokehouse line of three smoked sea salts: the deeply smoky Bonfire that is smoked over seven woods for 14 days; Wildfire, a blend of pecan-smoked Northwest sea salt, garlic and rosemary; and Hellfire, a mesquite-smoked habanero and lime sea salt.
All of SaltWorks' natural sea salts are kosher certified.
