King Arthur Flour, Norwich, Vt., has hired Terri Rosenstock, formerly of Alexandria, Minn., as the company’s public relations coordinator. Rosenstock’s primary responsibility is to keep King Arthur Flour in the news through work with traditional media and through events and outreach programs. At the same time, former media relations manager Allison Furbish has shifted into a new role focusing on web media relations.
“Among all the candidates we considered, the mix of Terri’s personality and her experience in PR – including in the food world – made her the right person to succeed in this role,” says King Arthur Flour Marketing Director Tom Payne. “The addition of Terri to our team allows us to continue our commitment to being an information and education resource for the food editors and writers we’ve worked with for years, while at the same time expanding our reach into the realm of social media.”
Rosenstock began her career working in radio and has spent time in PR and marketing for both for-profit and non-profit organizations, including three years at Tastefully Simple in Alexandria, Minn. Originally from South St. Paul, Minn., Rosenstock graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a degree in communications and broadcast journalism. She recently relocated to Vermont.
Furbish has worked in media relations at King Arthur Flour since 2005. In her web media position, she is focused on growing the company’s social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, with bloggers, and elsewhere; and on creating and maintaining compelling corporate content for the company’s website.
