The 2012 Scovie Awards honored Robert Rothschild Farm with five awards in five different categories, including three first-place finishes. More than 792 products from 161 companies were judged in this year’s competition.

The Urbana, Ohio-based specialty food company received first-place honors in the Condiments-Not Hot and Spicy - Meat Sauce category for its Pineapple Coconut Mango Tequila Sauce; Condiments-Not Hot and Spicy - Prepared Dip category for its Raspberry Honey Mustard Pretzel Dip; and Condiments-Not Hot and Spicy – Relish category for its Roasted Red Pepper & Onion Dip

The company also received two second-place awards for its Blue Cheese Dijon Mustard, in the Condiments-Not Hot and Spicy – Mustard category, and for its Hot Pepper Peach Preserves in the Sweet Heat - Jams/Jellies category.

The Scovie Awards is an annual competition created by Dave DeWitt that recognizes the top fiery foods products in the world. It is one of the most competitive blind tasted food competitions. Hundreds of products are entered and go through rigorous tastings to receive the top honors. The Scovie Awards take place annually in the month of October.
