Ferrero, the maker of Nutella-The Original Hazelnut Spread, is opening Nutella Café along Chicago’s Michigan Avenue. The café, which officially opens on May 31, will offer an array of all-day dishes and to-go options. Celebrity chef and Nutella fan Rocco DiSpirito will be at the grand opening celebration, during which the first 400 customers will receive a free menu item and other special surprises.
This is the first restaurant for the company, and it promises an authentic Nutella experience with a specially curated menu.
“We wanted to create a world of Nutella for our fans that could truly capture the essence of the brand – not just in the dishes that will be served, but in the full experience from the moment you step into the space.” said Noah Szporn, head of marketing Nutella North America. “The Nutella Cafe offers something for everybody, and we encourage everyone to come in and try a dish or snack. We hope Nutella enthusiasts, Chicagoans and visitors enjoy the cafe as much as we enjoyed creating it.”
