1. All Saint's Day. Clear out remaining Halloween merchandise with a Haunting Halloween Clearance Sale.
2. Give hard-working women a break in the kitchen by offering men simple, one-pot recipe suggestions in honor of National Men Make Dinner Day.
3. To honor the sandwich inventor, John Montague, display a bevy of breads, meats, cheeses and exotic spreads and garnishes in your Deli Department for Sandwich Day.
4. For National Fig Week, promote these fibrous treats in your Produce Department and include recipe ideas.
5. Prepare for the final fourth-quarter push. Spruce up all your holiday sale items already on display.
6. To acknowledge American Diabetes Month, host a series of healthy cooking classes. Highlight your slow cookers and vegetable steamers.
