Gourmet retailer Pastoral Artisan Cheese Bread and Wine hosted an Artisan Producer Festival at its Chicago French Market location on April 30.
The event featured tastings and demonstrations. Participating vendors included local companies such as Das Carmelini, known for its Man Bait maple-bacon lollipops; Goose Island Brewery; and Bennison’s Bakery. Participating cheesemakers included Sweet Grass Dairy in Georgia, Rogue Creamery in Oregon, Zingerman’s Creamery from Michigan, and Sartori Foods, Seymour Dairy, Uplands Cheese, Saxon Creamery, and Wisconsin Sheep Dairy from Wisconsin. Chicago French Market vendors, including Fumare, Lavazza Espressions Café and Saigon Sisters, also participated in the event.
