This April, 7 W New York will get into the spirit of spring with a garden/outdoor dining & entertaining-themed Tabletop Week, April 12-15, which will run concurrently with Printsource New York’s show (on the 11th floor event space of 7 W) — the premier market for textile and surface design. Highlights of the market include a celebratory garden party, a collaborative tabletop display with Printsource prints as inspiration and outdoor furniture as a backdrop, and a lively keynote presentation on trends in the tabletop/entertaining world. The week also will mark the debut of new suites and showrooms boasting new lines, including a Chef Emeril licensed collection from Zak Designs; Sorella Home, now with the Richard Cohen Collection, Inc.; and the Marc Blackwell collection in Gallery On Six, all of which will round out 7 W’s already rich variety of offerings.
A sneak peek at the week:
Lobby Display: “Outside + Inside”
7 W’s lobby will become a chic garden oasis with a quartet of outdoor lounge areas outfitted with pieces from Belgian furniture manufacturer, Royal Botania, and accessorized with top-notch tabletop items from 7 W suites. 7 W’s stylist, Nancy Alusick, will use garden-inspired prints courtesy of Printsource New York as inspiration for the four seasonal tabletop vignettes, illustrating easy looks for home dining and entertaining, both indoors and out. The displays will remain in 7 W’s lobby through April 29.

Trends in Tabletop and Entertaining at Home-Keynote Presentation
Wednesday, April 13
Printsource Future Café, 11th floor

With more and more people opting to entertain at home, inviting friends and family over for gatherings both inside and outdoors, choosing the right tabletop items has become an important task. The right tabletop look can really enhance the at-home dining experience and set the appropriate mood. Callie Jenschke — a New York designer, stylist, blogger and trend expert who has worked with such names as Everyday with Rachael Ray, Lonny and O at Home — will provide insights on the latest tabletop and entertaining trends from her standpoint as a design-savvy industry-watcher. The presentation is a part of Printsource’s Future Café, a seminar series on emerging trends in apparel and home fashions (April 12-13 on 7 W’s 11th floor). This special presentation is free for all Tabletop and Printsource attendees.
