At both the Owings Mills and Randallstown, Md., farmers markets last week, forward-looking entrepreneurs used new technology to help grow business for their not-so-high-tech products. Small- and micro-business owners, including those selling at farmers markets, are turning to inexpensive devices, smart phone and iPad apps to help increase sales and speed up transactions.
