Lifetime Brands Inc., a provider of kitchenware, tabletop, home décor and lifestyle products, announced it has acquired Creative Tops Ltd. and Creative Tops Far East Ltd.(CTFE) on Nov. 6.

Creative Tops is a tableware, kitchenware and giftware products company based in Corby, England, while Hong Kong-based CTFE provides sourcing and other services.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but for its fiscal year ended March 31, Creative Tops and CTFE had combined net revenues of approximately $42.3 million.

“Creative Tops … focuses on quality and design, and has an extensive sourcing infrastructure,” states Jeffrey Siegel, Lifetime’s chairman, president and CEO. “We are impressed by the quality, commitment and passion of Creative Tops’ management and expect the continuing management team, under the leadership of Patricia Dawson, to integrate seamlessly into Lifetime’s operating structure.”

Creative Tops markets its products to independent retailers, department stores, supermarkets, home and garden centers and other housewares retailers in the United Kingdom, the United States and 13 other countries.

Creative Tops’ markets its own line of products and also does private label. The company also operates a consumer website www.english-table.com.
