Laura’s Gourmet, an artisan granola company based in Phoenix, has added eight states and Amazon.com to its distribution list. The granola now is available through gourmet retailers in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Nevada and Colorado.

Its expansion into new markets has contributed to the company’s significant growth this year, which has increased by more than 35 percent over last year, according to a company statement. Gourmet Merchants International in California and Gallery Marketing in Texas distribute the granola.

Laura’s Gourmet Granola, which was started by Laura Slama in 2004, also has increased distribution to gourmet retailers, restaurants and hotels in its existing markets of Arizona, California and Texas.
