The award-winning team at L’Espalier Restaurant in Boston is hosting a Father’s Day Barbecue and Cheese Tasting to benefit the American Cheese Society’s Cheese Professional Certification Program.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cheese Society’s Cheese Professional Certification Program, dedicated to fostering the continuing professional development of cheesemongers, to ensure the highest possible levels of service and care for cheeses and the people who love them.
The event will take place at Chef Frank McClelland’s Apple Street Farm, located at 35 Apple Street in Essex, Mass., on June 19, 1-5 p.m.
This is a tented, rain-or-shine event. Price is $125 per person for barbecue chicken, deviled eggs, potato salad, green bean salad and lemonade. Children 12 and under are $60. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
Cheesemakers from Ruggles Hill Creamery, Shy Brothers Farm, Spring Brook Farm, Valley View Cheese, Vermont Creamery, The Cellars at Jasper Hill, and more will sample and sell their cheeses.
