Coffee Reserve Brands has announced that John Nugent has joined their leadership team as chief operating officer and brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the consumer goods industry.

While vice president and general manager with Anheuser-Busch Inc., Nugent led a multi-location, $100 million beverage distribution organization. He brings extensive experience in sales, strategic marketing, brand building, and new product and packaging development, and other areas of marketing and distribution.

Nugent leads the company in developing and refining their sales, marketing and production initiatives. Nugent’s primary role is to execute Coffee Reserve Brands’ three-year strategic plan, which calls for doubling the size of the business.

Coffee Reserve Brands has been custom roasting coffee in Phoenix since 1997. The company is committed to sourcing sustainable coffees such as Rain Forest Alliance-certified coffee and Fair Trade coffee. The company also operates a custom packaging division, which handles co-packing, toll roasting, in-room hotel packets and private label coffees.
