Microplane’s Master Series collection of hand-held graters won this year’s Red Dot Award for product design excellence. Microplane collaborated with Carter McGuyer Design Group to develop the collection of premium graters crafted in walnut and stainless steel.

The international Red Dot Design Awards and its "Red Dot"  is one of the most sought-after quality marks for good design.

Reflecting the company’s heritage as a woodworking tool, the Master Series’ on-trend, artisanal, craftsman styling reflects the best in contemporary design, durability and performance. Graters are engineered with Microplane’s original stainless steel, Made in the USA etched blades and securely framed in sturdy, heavy-duty stainless steel. The beautiful, oiled walnut handles (made from wood sourced in the United States) are comfortable to hold and add a warm, chic design element to kitchen decors. The graters, available in Fine, Ribbon, Coarse and Extra Coarse, have a convenient paddle shape to efficiently maximize the blade’s cutting surface. SRP: $29.95.
