PrintImusa Lands Deal with Target

Imusa’s International Collection of cookware and cooking tools is now available exclusively at Target Corp.'s 1,780 stores nationwide.

“This is an anthology of cookware for enthusiasts of global cuisine. The 15 SKU line includes IMUSA’s Pan-Asia Gourmet and Latin Gourmet cookware and tools to outfit every cook with all that’s needed to prepare recipes from the two fastest growing global cuisines,” said Manny Gaunaurd, president of Imusa USA.

Every piece of cookware in Imusa’s International Collection at Target features bold and informative new packaging. Many items also include a bonus -- a themed booklet of product history, care and use, with recipes.

“Our overall goal is to provide Target with the definitive assortment of hip, upscale and practical internationally themed cookware items,” said Gaunaurd. The items hit the store shelves late last month.

The Latin Gourmet line has nine SKUs including a red Paella pan; the contemporary Evolution Caldero; a granite Molcajete (mortar and pestle) for grinding fresh spices, and making and serving guacamole; a Fajita pan and a Fajita griddle with cool touch handles; a 16 quart tamale/seafood steamer and a 12-inch quesadilla pan. Items are designed for global multifunction; for example, a 9-inch black tortilla warmer is also idea for flat breads. Products in the Imusa Latin Gourmet line at Target carry a MSRP of $4.99-$39.99.

The six-item Asian Gourmet line provides globally inspired home cooks with a variety of wood handled woks, chopsticks, bamboo tools and bamboo steamers and a 7-piece Wok Gift Set to authentically furnish aspiring Asian chefs.
