Celebrity Chef Guy Fieri led the second annual record-breaking happy hour to benefit C-CAP. This invitation-only event, held immediately after the International Home + Housewares Show on March 6, brought together industry professionals, Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) students and friends to benefit C-CAP. Attendees enjoyed dishes prepared and served by C-CAP students from six Chicago high schools. Music was performed by John Primer, Grammy nominated blues artist and 2010 Living Blues Artist of the Year, and DJ Chef Marc Weiss.
C-CAP is an organization that works with public schools across the nation, preparing underserved students for college and careers in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
This event was generously sponsored by kitchenware distributor Harold Import Co. Inc., kitchen tool supplier ISI North America Inc. and knife brand Ergo Chef.
