PrintGaraghty Promoted at Wüsthof

Effective immediately, Annette Garaghty has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing at Wüsthof-Trident of America Inc., a newly created position at the Norwalk, Conn.-based company. Garaghty continues to report directly to Scott Severinson, the company’s president of sales and marketing.
“We’re delighted to recognize Annette’s significant contributions to our organization’s growth and success in becoming a leading premier cutlery brand,” says Severinson. “As we continue to grow and expand sales and marketing efforts, Annette’s leadership skills, extensive experience and passion for Wüsthof will be pivotal in reaching our goals.”
In her new position, Garaghty is in charge of all marketing activities, including advertising and public relations campaigns. She also is the key sales account contact for Williams-Sonoma, the company’s largest retail customer. In addition, Garaghty will continue to service other major accounts in cooperation with Severinson. Todd Myers remains vice president of sales for the organization.
Based in Minneapolis, Garaghty first joined Wüsthof in 1986 in customer service and held various posts at the company before being appointed sales coordinator in 2004. Prior to her current promotion to vice president, Garaghty was director of sales and marketing for two years.
Wüsthof premium cutlery is crafted in Solingen, Germany — the manufacturing base and headquarters for Wüsthof-Trident for nearly 200 years. Wüsthof products are sold at select specialty and department stores in more than 70 countries.
