Askinosie Chocolate Debuts at Anthropologie

PrintAskinosie Chocolate Debuts at Anthropologie

Earlier this week, select Askinosie Chocolate products premiered at Anthropologie retail stores across the United States and online at anthropologie.com.

During the holiday season, Anthropologie will be carrying the Springfield, Mo.-based chocolatier’s Sipping Chocolate along with three chocolate bars from its CollaBARation line: Dark Milk Chocolate Black Licorice Bar, Dark Chocolate Malted Milk Bar and Dark Chocolate Coffee Bar.

“We were excited and honored that our little company was approached by Anthropologie for this opportunity. We’re one of only three chocolate brands that were selected,” says Lawren Askinosie, director of sales and marketing at Askinosie. “This is the culmination of several long months of hard work for us, and we’re thrilled to have our chocolate in the hands of the fashionable, trend-setting Anthropologie customers.”

Anthropologie,  a lifestyle brand owned by Philadelphia-based Urban Outfitters Inc., currently operates 175 stores worldwide.

Shawn Askinosie, founder and chocolate maker, travels to the growing regions of Ecuador, Honduras, the Philippines and Tanzania to source 100 percent of the small-batch chocolate manufacturer’s beans directly from the farmers.
