CIA, Vitamix Collaborate on Cookbook

Created to inspire home chefs to new culinary heights, the new cookbook, “Recipes from CIA Master Chefs,” is a collaborative effort between Vitamix, based in Cleveland, Ohio, and The Culinary Institute of America, the culinary college.
Included with the Vitamix CIA Professional Series, the cookbook is is divided into five chapters: Beverages; Entrees; Soups; Dressings, Dips & Spreads; and Desserts.
The book also includes information about CIA Boot Camps, a program for food enthusiasts who want to take food preparation to the next level.
The CIA Professional Series comes in Brushed Stainless, Platinum, Onyx and Ruby, with a suggested retail price of $499. In addition to “Recipes from the CIA Master Chefs,” the machine includes “Create,” a cookbook with culinary creations from more than 20 of the country's top chefs, such as Mario Batali, Joanne Weir, Ani Phyo and Rick Bayless, plus an instructional DVD with celebrity chef Michael Symon and 16 bonus recipes.
