Bristol Farms Redesigns StoreBristol Farms unveiled a new store design for the first supermarket it opened 30 years ago in Rolling Hills, Calif. The store's redesign, unveiled Jan. 18, emphasizes fresh foods and has been in the works for quite some time, noted Kevin Davis, president, and CEO of Bristol Farms. “The improved Rolling Hills store features a well thought-out designed décor package that celebrates and highlights the Rolling Hills community in an old-fashioned mercantile manner that is unique to any grocery store,” Davis said. “...We place a heavy emphasis on the peripheral departments, including our deli and cheese departments, restaurant quality grab-and- go foods, specialty full-service meat, seafood and sushi departments, and our locally grown fresh produce.” The remodel includes 4,500 new organic, local, natural and gluten-free products in support of Bristol Farms' Great Taste Just Got Better merchandising plan. Offerings include more than 300 specialty cheeses and has a fresh, hand-selected seafood delivered fresh daily. The meat department features organic and free-range poultry, antibiotic-free and hormone-free chicken and hormone- and antibiotic-free American raised beef including prime and aged beef.
