BelGioioso Takes Home 6 Awards at World Cheese Awards

Green Bay, Wis.- based BelGioioso Cheese won a total of six medals at the World Cheese Awards last month in England.

BelGioioso’s signature blue-veined cheese, BelGioioso CreamyGorg® received a silver medal (pictured right), Crumbly Gorgonzola a bronze medal and the newest addition, Crumbly Gorgonzola with Sheep’s Milk and its rich, creamy flavor, received a silver medal at the World Cheese Awards.

Starting with fresh, local Wisconsin milk, these Italian specialty Gorgonzola cheeses are hand-crafted by BelGioioso Master Cheesemakers. In addition to the three Gorgonzola awards, BelGioioso Cheese received a silver medal for their fresh and creamy Burrata, a bronze for classic Mascarpone and a bronze for Whole Milk Ricotta con Latte®.
