The Best of Atlanta Awards were celebrated as a highlight of the Atlanta Gourmet Market, which was staged with the Atlanta Fall Gift & Home Furnishings Market and Atlanta Apparel Market Oct. 14-16.

Plentiful Pantry took home two awards: the Best Beverage Award for its Sea Salt Caramel Macchiato from and Best Soup honors for its Tortilla Soup.

One Screw Loose also scored a double win: in the Best Extra category for its Brew Ha Haberno Jelly and Best Condiment for its Balsamic Vinegar with Vidalia Onions Jelly.

  • Best Chocolate: Sweet Shop USA for its Pecan Brag Jr.’s..
  • Best Dessert: Tropical Tucan from Graffiti Zoo

  • Best Organic: Detoxify Me Organic from Tea’s Etc.
  • Best Snack: Mini Fillo Shells by Robert Rothschild Farm


The Best of Atlanta Awards recognizes superior achievements in taste, originality and packaging of products presented at the market. The awards are bestowed annually among independent submissions from the Gourmet Temporaries and from permanent exhibitors in the Gourmet Market Center.

More than 35 companies submitted product for the chance to be chosen as the Best of Atlanta in one of 10 individual award categories. AmericasMart invited Atlanta's top culinary experts to judge the gourmet products. Sampling gourmet food and beverages from the permanent and temporary product centers, the team of independent judges visited the booths and showrooms to experience the product in its unique environment and interact with the creators and representatives.
