Hey Y’all! Paula Deen Network Heads to Retail

Print Hey Y’all! Paula Deen Network Heads to Retail

Paula Deen Enterprises has developed the Paula Deen Network, an in-store audio and mobile platform that will reach shoppers as they browse the grocery store. The celebrity chef’s Southern charm will be featured in 30-second audio spots in 31,000 grocery, drug and convenience stores throughout the United States. Deen will offer recipes, tips and product information.

“Through text messaging, we will tell shoppers about those products and values in their local store,” says Deen, whose latest cookbook with Melissa Clark, Paula Deen's Southern Cooking Bible, is on the New York Times’ Best Seller list.
“The advertisers, retailers and consumers all benefit. Soon we will introduce a phone app that our customers will treasure,” adds Dean. “It will have recipes, tips, shopping lists and links to our brands’ sites.”

A percentage of all ad dollars spent on the Paula Deen Network will go to Savannah, Ga.-based Paula Deen Enterprises’ food banks.
