7 W New York is ready to welcome attendees to its upcoming Gift & Home Textiles Market Week, Aug. 12-18. Notable happenings include Shop 7 W First on Friday on Aug. 12, a chance for buyers to beat the crowds while taking a sneak peek at promotions, plus 7 W’s Tropical Cruise party on Monday night, Aug. 15. 7 W also will offer initiatives such as Chart Your Course and Showroom Spotlight, which will give buyers the chance to win prizes simply by checking out 7 W suites and products.

In addition, a number of lines will debut during the show, including Two’s Company’s new fashion apparel and accessories line; 2 Chic, tag’s new Gazebo Collection, inspired by bright colors and innovative fabrics; and Kurt S. Adler Inc.’s Beatles Collection.

Gift company Vance Kitira International, multi-category gift specialist Manual Woodworkers & Weavers, whimsical Two Lumps of Sugar, and chic home and garden goods purveyor Barreveld International will all show off their products in recently renovated spaces.

Building-Wide Events & Promotions:

Shop 7 W First on Friday (Aug. 12): The first day of the show will feature promotions and incentives specifically designed for shoppers who want to beat the crowds. Gift bags and showroom specials are just a couple of the perks.

Monday at 7 W: Summer Showtime Tropical Cruise (August 15): Showrooms will be ready for attendees to “hop aboard” and enjoy an evening of late night shopping from 5 to 8p.m.. Events throughout the building will provide buyers with a fun-filled atmosphere to find items. Food, drink and entertainment will round out the night.

Chart Your Course (Aug. 12-18): Show-goers are invited to use their 7 W Showroom Map Postcard to shop participating suites and see the latest and greatest products out there. Participants can present their card to the showroom for a stamp and turn it in before leaving 7 W. A minimum of six stamps gains entry into the 7 W drawing for a chance to win a mini-computer.

Showroom Spotlight (Aug. 12-18): Suites hosting an event or launching a new product will be highlighted daily. Check out the Spotlight Board upon entering the building.
