Product Description

This non-stick mat is designed for baking bread that turns out perfectly. Silpain is made in France, using the highest quality food-grade silicone, reinforced with a fiberglass mesh. The surface of the Silpain is the secret to ensuring a crisp, uniformly browned crust. This non-stick surface is a darker color than the classic Silpat, which aids in the bread baking process. The surface is perforated, which allows moisture to seep through to provide even browning and a crusty finish. Silpain requires no pre-greasing and is effective in temperatures from -40 degrees F to 480 degrees F. Silpain is NSF certified and kosher certified. Measures 11 5/8 by 16½ inches. Available in open display box packaging or case display unit. SRP: $26.70. For more information, call Demarle USA, Cranbury, N.J., at 609-395-0219 or visit www.silpat.com or visit IHHS Booth #S-4124.
