Aunt Berta's range of all-natural jams, jellies, pastas and
chocolates are the brainchild of the folks at Kibbutz Beth-El, also
known as Carmel Farms, a self-sustaining German community that
migrated to Israel a century ago. The farm has a view of Mt. Carmel
and 96-year-old Aunt Berta still resides there. But today, Aunt
Berta's little kitchen has been transformed into a family-sized
state-of-the-art facility creating a range of interesting flavors:
Apple & Cinnamon Preserves, Pomegranate Jelly, Kiwi & Mango
Preserves, and they've also recently introduced another sweet side
with a range of pralines that are so perfect, even my
non-sweet-toothed compatriot begged for more. Plus new pastas and
handmade crackers. Produced by BE Food Ltd. and imported by
Atalanta; call 908-351-8000 or e-mail

pricing and more information.
