You've heard of black tea and green tea, and even white tea. But have you heard of blue tea? That's what oolong tea is referred to in Japan. Oolong is tea that has been fermented, or oxidized, in between green and black varieties. In other words, longer than green tea and not as long as black tea. The people of Japan and China have long believed that oolong is useful to maintain a healthy weight.
