European Imports Ltd. (EIL) has acquired the distribution business of Jonz Foods, Inc., making this EIL's fourth acquisition in the past two years. This merger blends two companies with a combined 50 years of experience in the specialty food distribution business.

Jonz exclusively services retail outlets with strong presence in the retail foodservice area. The distribution will be moved to the EIL Chicago warehouse adding close to 70 brands to the existing product base including Stacy's Pita Chips, Pirates Booty, Great Skott and Suzie's Crackers.

Jonz Foods, Inc. is a privately owned company founded in 1977 by John P. Nizzi. John Nizzi has accepted a position with European Imports Ltd. in a managerial capacity.
