Sprouts Opens Two California Stores; Third to Follow

July 9, 2009

Sprouts Farmers Market will today open two new locations in Brea and Riverside, Calif., with a third new store slated to open in Orange July 31.

''Sprouts Farmers Market was founded as a fun, indoor farmers market concept that offers fresh and natural produce, and healthier food options to those that aim to provide a healthier lifestyle for their families,'' said Doug Sanders, president and COO of Phoenix-based Sprouts. ''Already, the residents of Brea and Riverside have been so eager for us to open.''

The 24,000-square-foot Riverside store is located in The Mission Village Shopping Center. ''This economy has been tough for folks and [that is] one reason why I'm looking forward to opening Sprouts in Riverside,'' said Jason Bosch, Riverside store manager, Sprouts. ''We want customers to have an opportunity to enjoy high-quality, fresh and natural foods for their family at affordable prices.''

Sprouts operates 35 stores in Arizona, California, Texas and Colorado.
