King Arthur Flour Honors Acosta Manager as 2009 Broker of the Year

The King Arthur Flour Company of Norwich, Vt., has honored a senior business manager at Acosta Sales & Marketing in San Antonio, Texas, as Broker of the Year for his hard work on behalf of King Arthur Flour during 2009. King Arthur Flour senior vice president/general manager Michael Bittel, national sales director Peter Bouchard and regional sales & marketing manager Duncan Giddens presented the award this month to senior business manager Burt Pruett at Acosta's office in San Antonio.

Pruett received King Arthur Flour's Knight in Shining Armor Broker of the Year award, a 2-foot-tall hand-forged knight made of stainless steel complete with an Arthurian-style sword. The statue is engraved with Pruett's name. The whole Acosta San Antonio office was also on hand for the presentation.

"Burt is truly a knight in shining armor for King Arthur Flour at HEB. HEB is a very important customer for our company, and Burt's knowledge and relationship with HEB has been vital in maintaining an excellent track record of continued growth for King Arthur Flour in the San Antonio market," said Bouchard.
