World Wide Gourmet Foods, Inc. announced the acquisition of Christopher Brookes Distinctive Foods' assets. Christopher Brookes Distinctive Foods is a privately held company with over 30 years of providing premium gourmet products to the U.S. market.

The asset purchase included the Elizabethan Pantry name, customer lists and inventory. The Elizabethan Pantry line of English preserves, curds, condiments and marmalades will complement the existing World Wide Gourmet Foods brands.

This acquisition adds another product category to World Wide Gourmet Foods'
expanding line. Already the home of shelf-stable smoked salmon, dessert, soup, gourmet salts and coffees, Elizabethan Pantry will add specialty preserves, curds, and condiment categories for the company.
