Food Network celebrity chef Tyler Florence and Tulocay
& Co will debut Tyler Florence West Coast Kitchen Essentials
during the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco.
The Tyler Florence West Coast Kitchen Essentials line comprises
all-natural, West Coast-inspired food products made with quality
ingredients and designed for ease of use with irresistible results.
Like his cookbooks and cooking programs, the line reflects
Florence's approach to cooking that combines a culinary school
degree with a passion for fresh, homey food. Each product label
features one of "Tyler's favorite recipes" with simple directions
for creating a flavorful dish. Pantry staples inspired by his "go
to" recipes as well as favored West Coast cuisine combined with a
little of his Southern roots make up the initial 17-product launch.
Florence takes the guesswork out of cooking with a collection that
features a variety of versatile sauces, glazes and marinades for
grilling and roasting, as well as intensely flavored cooking sauces
for pastas or slow cooking, and seasonings for everything from
fried chicken to grilled fish and slow-roasted pork.
Florence will be cooking with his products at the Fancy Food Show
on Monday, Jan. 18 in Tulocay & Co's booth #1749. The products
will be sold through his store in Mill Valley and specialty
retailers.
"These products are based on some of my favorite recipes and are
now even more accessible to the home cook," said Tyler Florence.
"Tulocay & Co was a natural partner as they share the same
passion for quality in their own house brands."
"Tyler Florence has a wonderful potential customer base for the
West Coast Kitchen Essentials brand," commented Karen Foley,
Tulocay & Co's senior vice president of sales. "He is a busy
working parent who enjoys cooking healthy and delicious meals for
family and friends, and this resonates with his followers. On his
shows and in his cookbooks, Tyler Florence promotes uncomplicated
recipes, straightforward flavors, and fresh, healthy food --
exactly what today's consumer wants to cook at home."
Florence, a graduate of the prestigious culinary program at Johnson
and Wales University, cooked in New York City at multiple acclaimed
restaurants such as Aureole and Mad 61, ultimately becoming
executive chef at Cafeteria. He has starred in Food Network's "How
to Boil Water," "Food 911" and "Tyler's Ultimate," his signature
series. In July 2008, Florence opened his first kitchen retail
shop, (

addition to his three previously released books -- "Tyler's
Ultimate," "Eat This Book" and "Real Kitchen" (Clarkson Potter). In
January 2009, Florence launched his signature lines of steel-clad
cookware and titanium cutlery on Home Shopping Network and at major
retailers across the United States, including Macy's, where he is a
member of the prestigious Macy's Culinary Council. Also in 2010,
Florence will open his first signature restaurant, Wayfare Tavern,
in San Francisco, as well as El Paseo Restaurant in Mill Valley,
and a cookware shop/restaurant in Napa.
